Fane of the Cosmos - FANE…BE HEAR NOW…SCOOBYPROFEN, TAZERS, BILLC-15 AND CHURCH OF THE UNIVERSE
Run with Dr. Ring Ding and Fever into a crazy night on LSD I had at an MMW show and the creation of a new super drug called SCOOBYPROFEN, which combines an Ibuprofen with a Scooby snack. A nice Def Jam cut from thea into a report that some homeowners are being forced to do drug testing to get mortgages. Unbelievable. Halfwits from SCTV…the greatest comedy show for its time. An interesting article from Derrick Jensen on why personal change does not always equal political change. Will not be loved by all listeners. Flight of the Concords and HipHopotamus vs. Rhymeasaurus. Alcohol v. Pot. I then play a clip from the C-15 Committee meetings featuring an NDP MP who lays it down quite nicely. I comment on the prevalence of tasers in movies and speculate that the Taser people are doing positive product placement in these movies to enhance the image of tasers…which are the devils tool. Another Def Jam on being light skinned. Joanna Newsom..my other girlfriend. Church of the Universe temple forfeited under proceeds of crime and how that relates to holy Smokes own loss of their temple. A comedy cut with “If my nose was running money I’d blow it all on you”. I try to play a flashback but the recording is too hissy. Speahead and RoadBlock. Saul Williams into Carl Sagan on Flatland…doing his best impression of Mr. Smith from the Matrix. I would like the thank all the people who make this show possible, Natural Alchemy, Paul D (who helps with these podcasts!), Alan M, the volunteers at KCR, Terry, the freaks and the sponsor of the show. Arts Arisin' - Arts Arisin - Richard Carver Memorial Show
Richard Carver 1937-2009
Richard lived in Nelson from 2001 until his death on June 28, 2009. This last chapter of his life seemed in many ways his happiest. He was a committed to Nelson's arts and culture scene from the moment he arrived and at the time of his death he served on a number of different boards, donated to a wide variety of organisations, and was a huge supporter of local artists and artisans. Much of his indefatigable commitment to local arts and culture came from his own passion for painting and writing, which he first discovered by taking a painting class with his future mentor, John Cooper. He never stopped exploring his emotions and experience through painting and poetry and exampled to his friends and family the importance and accessibility of creative expression.
Richard wanted to bring more exposure to the local arts scene, and this program - Arts Arisin - was his way of doing this. Over the years he co-hosted the show with: Fiona Brown, Bessie Wapp, and Josh Wapp.
This rememberance program was originally broadcast on July 20, 2009. It was produced and hosted by Bill Metcalfe, with contributions from Josh Wapp, Bessie Wapp, Fiona Brown, Anne Degrace, Tim Shay, Deb Kozak, John Cooper, Bryna Idler, Kelly Shpeley and a number of friends who called into the studio.

Universal Traveller - Planetary Earth of Artistic Beauty and Elegance
Life is the Art of Wise Choices
Navigating Syncronicity(Serendipity), Astro-Cosmology is Earth based, terrestrial, for a macro vision: a more universal picture of our personal (micro) lives within the greater self(s). Sorry I had way too much channeling going on to be very linear, however if you listen to the show in a nonlinear way all the aspects are mentioned as metaphors (which I am aiming more toward lately as so many know so little about Astrologies profoundness), it appears more 'collectively' help-full to offer metaphors than descriptions, please be patient as I learn to integrate the upgrade. Due to 'other' feedback, I have to navigate through the mind control triggers that turn it's victims off. There is a profound amount of trust required in the nonlinear being actual-ly full... Tune into it through intuition

Fane of the Cosmos - FANE…BE HEAR NOW…THE SCARY REALITY OF THE TERM COP A FEEL…POLICE ABUSE SEARCH POWERS
I speak about my experience at Starbelly, a great family oriented festival that takes place in Crawford Bay every year. Kicking it to Phish and Farmhouse. I start off the show with a great Celtic Tale from the bard Robin Williamson. I relate a story from the Valley Voice, a local newspaper, about the harrowing tale of a young girl in spandex shorts and the sexual assault she experienced at the hands of local police…looking for a concealed weapon. It was summer...she had a tank top on and shorts. I go off about the way officers abuse their powers for the sexual degradation of women. This adds a nasty ring to the saying “Cop a feel”. After that encounter we lay down an Immortal Technique tune. Another Starbelly Report and then I play some live cuts from the Starbelly Festival…Harry Manx and Holy Fuck. Then into a cut from the Womens Visionary Conference from two women who are medical cannabis users. A song for Brandy from Dave Van Ronk…Tale of the Wandering Angus. Love it. More from the conference and then into Marleys Turn Your Lights Down Low. I would like the thank all the people who make this show possible, Natural Alchemy, Paul D (who helps with these podcasts!), Alan M, the volunteers at KCR, Terry, the freaks and the sponsor of the show.
