Universal Traveller - Universal travellers astro weather report and why to learn astrology 101
LISTEN TO THIS ONE In this episode: dealing with tons of fire energy and why to learn astrology: to have a holistic perspective so we are discerning instead of exhaustingly and distractingly overly emotionally or mentally reacting, or being self righteous, stubborn or ineffective with reality as it stands in each changing/evolving moment. Also included: why to get a reading and learn the basics of natural laws which really can be seeded in an hour of teaching/reading. The 'tree' may take a while to flower but if we don't have the seed we rely on the external to make us happy instead of accepting 'what simply is', taking the reigns and doing what we need to do for ourselves to be effective in the whole (the larger self). Take the energy out of the mind and emotional reactivity, and align energy use with growth and effectiveness by aligning with the holistic reality that everything is 'relatively' true and appropriate at some point in the cycles. Be objective to create your dreams, accept the paradox (i.e. relativity is, in a sense, perspectual and relative to the present circumstances) In summary, stop resisting what is and accept what is, never 'mind'! Be Heart truth. response-abilty affords liberation, understanding holistic perspectives of the laws of nature tunes us into the whole truth which maximizes effectiveness beyond self righteous opinions or "wishing it was", or that it 'would be', something it isn't. Transcend unidimensional 'wishful' thinking: 'it simply is what it simply is', accept it and be effective. But don't think you cant change or do what you want, just realize that often getting "what you want" comes from doing also what you don't "think" you want to do! Accept polarity is the loom of creation up's and downs, the waveform, ride the wave and master the reality.

The History Hour - The Western Enlightenment and Age of Reason
The final episode of this winter/spring season attempts to bring some close to the Western Enlightenment as a period when the mind of the modern West was recast in a shape quite unlike the medieval mind or any other consciousness in any other culture. Politics is the major focus and Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau and Montesquieu are the main minds under study. The American Revolution and the French are proof-texts in our history of a new type of mind on the world scene.
